Entries for the Filmique International Film Festival are open for everyone. Participants under the legal age must submit a consent letter from their parent or guardian.

The films/screenplays can be based on any subject or concept

The films can be in any language. However, all films must include subtitles in English. Only english language screenplays are acceptable.

There is no barrier in the total run time of the films.

All content used in the film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers. If not, the participant will be disqualified.

Films must be available for download to the festival organizers. YouTube & Vimeo links are accepted.

Only films produced & completed after 1st January 2010 are eligible for the festival..

The Entry Fees are fixed.

Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted.

The Filmique International Film Festival will be undertaken as an online event as well as live event at a location selected by the festival organizers. The screening of all officially selected films will be done online as well as in theater. Participating films will be made available for streaming to a private audience and the files will NOT be shared outside the screening website.

Arpit Karmakar reserves the rights to copy or use the material submitted by the participants in any form, online or offline, for the festival’s promotional and archival purposes. Note that your entire film will never be shared with anyone or uploaded online without your permission. We understand that filmmakers want to keep the films private, and we will honor that.

The films/screenplays that are selected for final screening will not be allowed to withdraw under any circumstances until the festival is over.

Festival Organizers and Arpit Karmakar reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition anytime.

All entries must be submitted digitally via filmfreeway.

Each participant is responsible for the content of his/her work and for any possible copyright problems. The participant owns all rights concerning the usage of his/her work according to the regulations. The Festival Committee has no responsibility to third parties. The Festival Committee has the right to reject films, if the content or technical quality does not correspond to the Festival conditions.

Each entry will be accompanied by non-refundable fees.

Any film, selected or not selected, will be a decision of the selection panel which is final and accepted by all.

 A complete schedule of top selected films in each category shall be put up on the festival website.Any film, selected or not selected, will be a decision of the selection panel which is final and accepted by all.

Films will be judged entirely on the concept, technical aspects etc.
