Juan Carlos Salas Tamez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, in 1976. A passionate visual storyteller, he uses cinema to explore profound and transformative narratives. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL) and a Master's in Multimedia Production from the Camilo José Cela University in Madrid, Spain. Additionally, he completed the General Film Workshop at the Metrópoli Film School.
