Samba Music plays… Main characters, Xochitl and Wesley, introduce themselves in studio interviews. They take you through their dance history in video. In between interviews, they joke in practice.

Xochitl M. Lpz. is a Mexican American, 40-year-old ballroom dancer. After only 6-months of lessons, Xochitl decides to enter a World Dance Competition. Wesley Bradshaw, a Brazilian, 26-year-old, dance instructor agrees to choreograph Xochitl’s routines. She lost horribly.

Xochitl M. Lpz is a Mexican-American, 40-year-old Amateur Competitive Ballroom Dancer, Aspiring Actor/Singer/Songwriter and Screenplay Writer. As a child she modeled for a local hair salon. She had some dance experience by the age of 18. Her talents were recognized by Monica Zuniga, the founder of a Non-Profit Ballet Folklorico group for inner city youth in the Bay Area of California. Xochitl had no money, so she was assigned to help the group backstage with costumes, hair, makeup, and transportation. After 2 years, she was invited to join the group for free. She was with the group for 2 more years as a dancer and performed at amusement parks and in their sold-out stage show.
